What we have seen over the past several days in Los Angeles, Chicago and various other cities far too populous with those here without benefit of legality has been, for the average American, positively nauseating.
The Congressional call for actual United States border enforcement has driven those already here in breach of said brim not back to their countries of origin, but to the streets to demand that the four decade olly-olly-oxen-free approach to the degradation of our sovereignty continue unabated by legislative alteration.

We have on display here today illegal aliens that have been trained by the Left and the Media (please, again, pardon the redundancy) to be in actuality tremendously proud of their felonious status, and to arrogantly demand "civil rights" that they in no way comprehend, in a claim so mislaid as to be laughable.
It is certainly an egregious insult to the American blacks who suffered horrendously in piecemeal freedom for the century proceeding their ancestors' liberation from slavery, their having been brought here in chains against their will, for this new, completely unconnated group of people who willfully and illicitly invaded our nation, to march under the same, co-opted banner of "civil rights".
Much like our open query regarding just where thousands of Danish flags could be instantaneously found for communal conflagration in protest of the Cartoon Dozen in municipalities like Janin and Damascus, we are left (not) wondering how 500,000 people could be spontaneously convened in the streets of the City of Angels, and in the tens or hundreds of thousands in many places elsewhere, to chant slogans in Spanish and wave Mexican flags, all to show just how happy and proud they are to be in America.
And the answer, of course, is that there was nothing unplanned about it. International A.N.S.W.E.R., to be precise. Short for Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, and long on idiocy, International A.N.S.W.E.R. is a Communist and terrorist front group famous for rousing the rabble whenever a moronic cause needs to be served by teeming masses of the ill-informed.
Like many of their unwashed, unmitigated protest predecessors, A.N.S.W.E.R. have very little to say and even less to offer, except that whatever ails the planet is undoubtedly the United States' fault. This is but the latest incarnation of the Blame America First, Last and Only contingent, and they are a parody of the parodies that have come before them.
They have been the ones leading the lemming charge against our rigid insistence on self-preservation in the War on Terror, rallying to object to our tapping Caliphatic telephone calls, and demanding jury trials and Geneva conventions for Jihadists who rationally and realistically deserve neither.
On offer is all the inanity and the palter that is to be expected from a gaggle such as this. For mendacious example, every estimate of this weekend's gathering in Los Angeles placed their number at half a million, except for A.N.S.W.E.R.'s, which made the Louis Farrakhan-esque claim of 1,000,000 in chaotic attendance.
They are steeped in retrograde Marxist nostalgia, proffering the standard issue Che Guevara regalia and loving any, latest thug to the Cause (that currently being Hugo Chavez of Venezuela). Never giving up the Great Red Ghost, they rigorously adhere to the slogan, "Communism has only killed 100 million people, let us give it another chance".
Of course, as more and more historical evidence is gathered and context put into place, their blind loyalty to the greatest evil of the 20th century simply adds "pathetic" to the long list of accurate denogrative descriptives.
Their rallying of the lawless within is right in line with their ideological lockstep and intellectual vacuity. We have in America today anywhere between 11 and 20 million illegal aliens, bringing ruination to hospital, educative and social services budgets throughout.
When we exhibit the temerity to say that we perhaps can not afford to do this in perpetuity, we are angrily informed by the illicits' spokesmen that it is in fact our responsibility, nay our obligation, to foot the bill for as many invaders as can make it through undetected.
That nearly 30% of our federal prison system is populated by these peaceful undocumented immigrants is never mentioned.

Ignored also is the crutch, subsidized by the American citizenry, afforded industry by this underclass of manual laboriousness. A buttress that has in fact harmed those businesses that they have been purported to have been helping. This 19th Century, throw-masses-at-the-problem approach has served as a huge impediment to ingenuitive progress in many economic fields of endeavor.
Had we not stopped allowing illegals to pick tomatoes in the 1970s, the land barons would never have been forced to develop the machine that now culls the fruit at a fraction of the cost of the "cheap" labor that once instead did it.
And said beefsteak device does not require medical care, welfare and public schooling for itself and its progeny, all on our dime.
The other canard thrown up to impede the march towards immigration sanity is the "We can not deport 12 million people" defense. This is very true (although we should nevertheless give it the old instituto try); what we can do is allow the gaggle in question to slowly repatriate themselves.
Approximately 1 million illegal aliens will make their way here in the next annum, during which time approximately 100,000-150,000 will voluntarily return to their native lands, with prospective plans of again returning States-side. Should we actually begin to take our border enforcement seriously (and stop rolling out money hand over fist in the forms of free social and educative services), we can begin the slow diminishment of natural attrition.
By locking down the now porous border, we will substantially lessen the multitudes newly headed north, and prevent those who leave of their own volition from returning. Thusly, we begin to whittle away at the lawless populace in our midst.

Amnesty and guest worker programs are only further moth draws to the flame. Rewarding the behavior you (ostensibly) wish to see halted is but gross ignorance of human nature; of anything you subsidize, you will in fact get more, not less.

Border enforcement is the only serious solution; thankfully, finally, Congress is actually proposing it, much to the illegal aliens' chagrin (shocking). If you want people to stop entering your home, you do not offer them accommodation, you slam the door.
