As we have written on numerous occasions (most recently here), Iraq dictatorial goon Saddam Hussein's links to the global terror network were extensive. We initially proffered this assessment predicated simply on common sense, confident that with the elapse of time evidence aplenty would arise to bolster our mere inferences.

And so it has. With over 2,000,000 documents recovered in Iraq only now beginning to wind their way through the Arab-English transmogrification process, we have already elucidated that Hussein was running a state-sponsored terrorist Clown College with four branches in northern Iraq (with members of Al Qaeda making up the preponderance of the undergraduate classes) and that he was supporting the whole raft of Palestinian terrorist groups (including augmenting the Fatah PNA compensation paid to the families of suicide bombers to the tune of $25,000).

And now it has come to light from this darkest of places that Hussein was also funding terror in the Philippines, as reported by Stephen F. Hayes of the Weekly Standard.

Shocking.

As we have noted, only 2%-3% of the docu-heap has been properly metamorphosized, so common sense further dictates that there will be much more of said enlightenment forthcoming. How much of it is required to at last repair the Media and the Democrats' broken view of our Mesopotamian effort is, sadly, incalculable in its immensity.
